Drug Interactions in NOACs: Safer but not completely safe | GameChangers

A recent retrospective database study found that in patients on new oral anticoagulants prescribed clarithromycin, compared to azithromycin, were assocated with an increased risk of major beeding. We will discuss this paper and other common drug interactions the practicing pharmacists should be vigilant about.
