Here are my top 5 learnings for the year
1. You can onlyfocus on a limited number of things at once. And I’ve learned this from experience: Within a specific timeframe, you can accomplish anything, but not everything!
2. When you set a goal, make sure you associate a metric with it. In the past, I set goals to read more, but I never did. This year I added a number – read one book/month and listen to one book/month. This was the first time I actually DID accomplish my reading goal!
3. Three words that changed our business development this year: Entrepreneurial Operating System. I don’t know how any business can operate without a system like EOS.
4. Pharmacy Education is evolving and we’re all trying to do more with less. You can stay up to date clinically in less time with innovative learning like podcasts. We saw many people turning to these shorter education segments.
5. Relationships are a priority. After running a business for nearly ten years, I’ve read many business books, listened to podcasts, attended conferences, and invested in coaching. Through all this, I’ve realized one of the main things that separates us as a small business is our people.
To hear more about these learnings and more, listen to my Level Up podcast interview with Ashlee this week!
As always, have a great week and keep learning!
