One of my goals in 2024 is to read 24 books.
I like to mix in personal and professional reads to keep it interesting. Realizing weβre already 1/3 of the way through the year, I decided to do a check-in on my goal.
Turns out I need some accountability!
So far Iβve read:
1. Unreasonable Hospitality, Will Guidara
2. Shoe Dog, Phil Knight
3. Measure What Matters, John Doerr (since my word for the year is measure)
4. The Teacher, Freida McFadden (book club pick)
Iβm currently reading:
5. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Maya Angelou (book club pick)
6. Zucked, Roger McNamee
Up next:
7. When Breath Becomes Air, Paul Kalanithi
8. The Covenant of Water, Abraham Verghese (author of Cutting for Stone β possibly my all-time favorite book!)
9. The Measure, Nikki Erlick (recommended by a reader since my word of the year is measure)
10. Within Reason, Sandro Galea
11. The Women, Kristin Hannah
12. Why Simple Wins, Lisa Bodell
This only gets me halfway there so I would love some recommendations! What are your favorite books or all time? Or your newest favorite read? Would you be interested in a virtual book club? Iβd love to hear your thoughts!
As always, have a great week and keep learning!
