A couple weeks ago, my 21-year-old daughter sent me a text to make sure I knew October 6th was National Transfer Money to Your Daughter Day. Seriously, who invented these holidays? Sure enough, it worked because I’m a sucker for her antics!
A holiday that isn’t made up is National Pharmacy Technician Day, that we’ll celebrate this Tuesday, October 17th. This is one of the most important, real traditions and holidays to celebrate in pharmacy this year.
Can you even imagine going to work every day without your technician(s)?

Nichole is a rock star and was recently appointed as the first technician on the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy. Her expertise is valuable to the Board as they navigate new roles for technicians and establishing their career path within the profession. 1. Partner Spotlight: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Speaking of pharmacy technicians, this week we’re spotlighting our long-standing partnership with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). We currently have 5 Advanced Training courses that not only help to advance a technician’s career but help qualify them to earn an Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician credential.
We also partner with PTCB to provide education for their PTEC (Pharmacy Technician Educators Council) members. Through this partnership, we provide education for pharmacists and technicians who precept and teach pharmacy technicians.
